About Mark

Mark founded MDM Management Consulting in 2018 after nearly three decades as an equity partner with a respected Northern Virginia CPA firm. During that time, he managed a book of business exceeding $1 million, led an audit department of up to eight professionals, and served clients ranging from government contractors to nonprofit organizations.
Mark earned his B.S. in Accounting from West Virginia University and has held his CPA designation since 1988. He is a member of both the AICPA and the Virginia Society of CPAs.
Today, his focus is simple: serve clients the way he'd want to be served. That means clear communication, practical advice, and the kind of availability that larger firms rarely offer.
